Good Reads

Hey, Bentley!  We’re back with another installment of our tutors’ answers to writing-related questions.

This one’s a short one:  What’s the best thing you’ve read recently?

Dan:  Flash Fiction Forward:  80 Very Short Stories.

Nicole:  The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.  The first book is called City of Bones, if you’re interested!

Katie:  Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen.  I read the whole book in one day!

Tammie:  Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson.  It’s one of the best (and most fun) fantasy novels I’ve read.  Period.  And an article called “Transition Game” about the first transgender high school coach.  The link’s here if you’re interested.

Phillip:  I started The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith (AKA J.K. Rowling) at the beginning of the semester and it was really good.  I couldn’t finish it because it was due back to the library and I have been so busy this semester.

Let us know what you’ve read recently, and if you want any more information on these books (and others that we recommend), drop us a line at ga_writingcenter@bentley.edu.  We love new book recommendations!
